The Printing Lounge · Accessibility

Designing access into the experience.

We want people with disabilities to be able to access our public website, understand our information, communicate with us, and request reasonable assistance when a digital barrier occurs.

Statement date: July 13, 2026Website: theprintinglounge.comOngoing improvement commitment

Accessibility is an operating practice.

Accessibility requires design, content, code, testing, procurement, training, feedback, and maintenance—not a one-time badge or unsupported claim of perfection.

Our commitment

The Printing Lounge is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of its public digital experiences. We aim to consider recognized accessibility practices when designing, publishing, purchasing, and maintaining website content and functionality.

Our work may be informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG. Because technology, content, integrations, user needs, and standards evolve, we treat accessibility as a continuing process.

This statement does not claim that every page, document, integration, or third-party service currently conforms to a particular technical standard or legal requirement.

Keyboard access

Support navigation and operation without requiring a mouse wherever the underlying interface permits.

Visual clarity

Use readable typography, meaningful contrast, responsive layouts, and visible interaction states.

Semantic structure

Use headings, labels, landmarks, controls, link purpose, and alternative text appropriately.

Media support

Work toward useful captions, transcripts, descriptions, and controls for applicable media.

Document access

Improve downloadable document accessibility and provide alternative formats when reasonably available.

Human assistance

Provide a route to report barriers, request help, or ask for information in another reasonable format.

Supported use and testing

Accessibility can vary by browser, operating system, assistive technology, device, zoom level, settings, account status, and third-party integration. We may use combinations of automated checks, manual review, keyboard testing, content review, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

For the best experience, use a current version of a supported browser and operating system. Users should keep assistive technology current where practical, recognizing that individual needs and compatibility vary.

Known limitations and third-party content

Some content or functions may not yet provide an optimal accessible experience. Potential limitations can include legacy documents, user-submitted files, embedded media, maps, payment tools, authentication, courses, social platforms, external links, vendor interfaces, and other third-party components that we do not fully control.

We do not use the presence of a third party as a reason to ignore a reported barrier. We may evaluate alternatives, request vendor remediation, improve surrounding instructions, provide assistance, or offer another method when reasonably possible.

Requesting assistance or an alternative format

If you cannot access information or complete a task because of a disability-related barrier, contact us. Helpful details include:

  • The page address or feature involved.
  • A description of the problem and the task you were trying to complete.
  • Your browser, device, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them.
  • The format or accommodation that would help.
  • Your preferred contact method.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive data in a general accessibility message.

Physical locations and services

Questions about accessibility at a specific Printing Lounge location, event, course, or service should be directed to the responsible location or organizer whenever possible. Available accommodations can depend on the setting, request, timing, and applicable requirements.

Accessibility feedback

Tell us where the barrier is.

Use the Contact page and select “General inquiry,” then include “Accessibility” in the message. We will route the feedback to the appropriate team for review.

Submit accessibility feedback
Response note: We appreciate specific, good-faith feedback. Submission does not guarantee a particular remedy or response deadline, but it helps us identify, prioritize, and evaluate accessibility improvements.
